Easy PC Case Study
186 % Traffic Increase in 7 Months

The challenge:
Low organic rankings, no organic traffic increase
My blog drives e-commerce sales by targeting ‘money keywords’, ranking in Google, and driving traffic from Google to e-commerce stores where I earn a nice affiliate commission.
Unfortunately, my traffic was stagnate because I hadn’t worked on the site for quite some time, so I decided to turn my attention to the project.
In the screenshot to the left, I was pulling in roughly 30 people per day from Google (insanely low).
By employing a sound content marketing strategy, I knew it’d be easy to rank in Google for my target keywords, grow my organic traffic, and drive a lot more sales.
the solution:
Driving Traffic with Search-Focused Content Marketing
I deleted all of the low-value pages from my blog, and did a ton of keyword research, which I used to create a search-focused content marketing strategy.
After all, keyword research is the most important part of a successful organic search marketing strategy.
The secret, however, is finding keywords that are low competition but high volume, and have a lot of monetary intent.
These keywords are known as ‘low hanging fruit’ and they’re ripe for the picking.
Once ranking, I generated revenue from affiliate link clicks and email list sign ups. But a real e-commerce store could use their traffic to sell their own products, grow their email list, and remarket on Facebook to a warm audience.
Over the course of the next 7 months, I created value-oozing content that was well-written, highly targeted, and designed to convert. Every post had a purpose, was highly optimized, and ranked quickly.

The Outcome
Easy PC is ranking for 7,600 keywords (and counting) that are pulling in new visitors every day.
My blog’s traffic from Jan 1 to May 31, 2020, was 186.73% higher than the previous period.
My blog generated $54,658.19 in e-commerce sales in Q1 of 2020 alone, without any paid traffic.
